Letter sent to the Pope by the Mission, and the Bishop, concerning the discovery of the unmarked graves in some Residential Schools

The National Day of Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples is celebrated on December 12, the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron saint of the Americas.

In view of this day of prayer, please find attached the French and English versions of the Message for the National Day of Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples 2021, which has the theme We are called to healing, to forgiveness, to reconciliation. The message was drafted and approved by the Indigenous Council of the CCCB and was also reviewed by the Board of Directors as previously agreed with the Indigenous Council.

The text will be published in the December 2021 issue of Living with Christ, page 178.
